Week 4 - Flipchart Hacks
A flipchart is a standard piece of kit in many a workshop, but how can you use it to the max? This week gives you 4 simple hacks that will transform your flipchart use.
Week 5 – Templates
Visual Templates can be tricky to get used to, and require some extra preparation before a session, but once you've cracked them, they're invaluable.
Week 6 – Plan and Review
This week I'm going to show you a couple of different tools that are useful to help groups look backwards to reflect and review, and also look forwards to plan ahead.
Week 7 - Groups #1
As a facilitator you're going to enjoy these 3 tools for working with your groups. We will look at Open Space sessions, how to run a group mind map and visual tools to generate lots of ideas in a session.
Week 8 - PAUSE
We'll take the time here to review what you've done so far, and set yourself up for completing the course.
Week 9 - Groups #2
This week we'll look at facilitating Focus Groups and I'll share with you a tool to help you show progress from the start to the end of your session.
Week 10 - Finish Well
This week I'll share my tips on how to close a session well, suggestions for adding value after a session and also explore some of the challenges of running visual workshops.
Week 11 - Big Project
This week is one big practical exercise - use all the skills you've practised and tools you've learnt for your self-chosen Big Project. The more IRL the better.
Week 12 - Meta Record
This is your chance to review how you've progressed on the course and create a visual poster of your achievement.
What makes this course so special is the individual attention you get from your expert tutor. You will get individual feedback and suggestions for how to improve your work as you progress through the course. This is not a mass group generic Q&A, but actual 1-1 attention, feedback and advice from an industry expert throughout the course.
